Principal Business Analyst
Contract: 12 months
Location: Brisbane CBD

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Analyst to drive the performance and governance of critical financial systems and processes. You will lead finance transformation projects, ensuring efficient operations and continuous improvement within a complex organisational environment. If you are passionate about designing customer-focused procedures and leveraging best-practice process mapping to achieve strategic outcomes, this role is for you.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the elicitation and documentation of Finance processes (Levels 1-4) using BPMN best-practice formatting within corporate management systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive "AS IS" and "TO BE" analysis to support the transition to new ways of working following finance transformation initiatives.
  • Design and implement customer-focused processes and procedures to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Continually improve finance systems by leading business improvement initiatives and conducting quality assurance reviews for policy compliance.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on performance measures to ensure finance processes align with strategic directions and organisational KPIs.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:
  • Comprehensive experience in end-to-end finance processes and related financial activities.
  • Proven expertise in process mapping and documentation utilising BPMN methodologies and process management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement systems and processes within a complex environment, including policy and practice development.
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills to analyse complex issues and develop practical strategies for resolution.
  • High-level interpersonal and negotiation skills to establish collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
